Ember's Burden

A solitary figure, seen from behind, seems woven from cracked earth and glowing, fiery veins. Against the dark background the incandescent oranges, reds and pinks feel like carrying a heavy, burning weight. Despite the fractures across the skin, the figure stands upright and unbroken: quiet strength, and survival through adversity.
